Übernahme Fortis DB

Ende Dezember 2023 wurde die Übernahme der Firma Fortis-DB in Pilsen durch die Moosmayr Holding abgeschlossen. Fortis-DB ist ein führender Großhändler für Raucherzubehör und insbesondere für die Marke OCB. Dieser Schritt festigt unsere Position am europäischen Markt und wir sind neben Österreich und Deutschland nun auch in Tschechien vertreten.

Weihnachtsfeier 2023

Am 15. Dezember 2023 versammelten sich unsere Mitarbeiter im festlichen Country-Saloon in Haag am Hausruck zur jährlichen Weihnachtsfeier. Bei stimmungsvoller Atmosphäre, köstlichem Essen und toller Musik haben wir das Jahr gebührend ausklingen lassen. Danke für diesen unvergesslichen Abend!

PV System

In June, the company Smarthome 360 GmbH from Vienna installed a photovoltaic system with a total capacity of 667 kWp on our company roof. This will cover most of our own power needs in the future. Final works were completed in autumn of 2023, and the system will soon be connected to the power grid and put into operation.

Intertabac trade fair with new booth

At this year`s Intertabac trade fair in Dortmund form September 14th to 16th, we showcased innovative products and bestsellers from our assortment on 144m2. Dedicated staff were ready to answer questions, take orders or serve coffee. Our Next Generation products, including disposable e-cigarettes and nicotine pouches, were particularly popular.

Late summer festival

After a long break due to Corona, the summer festival could finally take place again. At Hofzeit in Rottenbach there was once again cross-departmental conversation and laughter, accompanied by a delicious snack buffet, regional drinks, and a DJ who provided atmospheric music. A pleasant, mild late summer evening where celebration continued into the night. Thanks to the management and employees for the organization!

New packing lines

To relieve the existing 16 packing lines and create more flexibility, we invested in 8 new stations, which are already in use! This ensures that tobacconists can continue to rely on a swift supply. A necessary step that was worth around 2 million euros to us to cope with the increasing demand.

In-house trade fair

Thank you for the numerous visits to our 3-day in-house trade fair. We are pleased that we could showcase our customers the new logistics, the high-bay warehouse, as well as new products and special trade fair promotions. Good conversations, delicious food, and beautiful weather perfectly rounded off the weekend.

Free coffee for employees

The management expresses gratitude to the entire Moosmayr team. From now on, there is permanently free coffee for all employees. The company wants to reward the effort and sweeten the everyday working life. A break can simply be enjoyed better with a cup of freshly brewed coffee! We say thank you!

Licht ins Dunkel

While acquiring Sirius Match Austria GmbH, we also continue our commitment to support the organization “Licht ins Dunkel” by producing and distributing “Licht ins Dunkel” products. The donation share from the sale of matches, lighters, and lanterns is transmitted directly to the organization and used for comprehensive support of social projects in Austria.

Takeover Match Austria

Thanks to the acquisition of Sirius Match Austria GmbH in February 2023, we can proudly welcome the renowned brands “Sirius”, “Feurius” and “Cricket” to our assortment. Traditional and strong brands like these represent quality, innovation, and sustainability. Values that have made them an integral part of Austrian shelves and we are eager to continue.
